The town hall of the 13th arrondissement of the capital alerted on Thursday about a scam taking place in its neighborhoods. For several days, false information notices have been regularly affixed to vehicles parked in the district.

The scam materializes at the bottom of the document. The QR code returns to the “amendes-antai.gouv.fr’ page, giving the impression of being redirected to the institutional site. However, as the tweet specifies, this is indeed a scam, the official website of the National Agency for the Automated Processing of Offenses is antai.Gouv, which is based in the city of Bordeaux. The town hall has not been able to comment on the authenticity of the fake news notices, which have been found in several areas of the city for the past few days. It is not known if any complaints have been made in connection with the fake news notices, but the town hall is looking into the matter.
