NGO Surfrider Foundation warns of the “alarming results” of the latest samples taken in the Seine since September 2023. Of these 14 measurements, 13 were found to be “above, or even very much above”, the thresholds set by the International Swimming Federation for swimming.
In total, 14 measurements were carried out by the association at the Alexandre-III and Alma bridges, where the triathlon, marathon swimming and para-triathlon events will be held between the end of July and the beginning of September next.
