Paris 2024 Olympic Games: certain heavy goods vehicles will exceptionally be able to drive on Sunday. A decree published this Sunday provides for exemptions from May 1, in particular for trucks serving Olympic sites.

Vehicles weighing more than 7.5 tonnes are normally not allowed to travel from 10 p.m. on Saturdays and the eve of public holidays. The exemption will concern vehicles supplying sites “duly identified” by the organizing committee for the 2024 Games. But other types of heavy Goods vehicles will also be allowed to drive over a shorter period around the Olympic and then Paralympic Games.
