Paris 2024 will open its ticketing application on May 15. The application will be called Paris 2024 Tickets.

Holders of tickets will be able to store them on a dedicated application. Resale will however be possible, but via the official channel, on this same application. Any resale outside the platform is prohibited, and you risk finding yourself stuck at the entrance without the possibility of accessing the competition site, says Tony Estanguet. The first events are scheduled for July 24, two days before the opening ceremony on the Seine, July 26. For several months, millions of buyers have been able to acquire tickets on the official Paris 2024 sales platform. More than 250,000 additional places, in all sports, will still be on sale this April 17, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., including the Blues football and basketball matches. The idea of this ticketing is to be “100% digital”, says the president of the Paris 2024 organizing committee. “You will then have to download your ticket: you will receive, at the last moment, a dynamic QR code, which you cannot falsify or send,” he adds.
