The Patagonia Run is one of the most important adventure races in Latin America. The event has been running for 14 years and includes seven distances, with the 100 miles as the main course.

The slopes and forest of Cerro Chapelco were suddenly Narnia, but without having entered through any closet. Hundreds of men and women discovered that what to mere mortals may seem like a natural obstacle is above all an opportunity to enjoy the joy of running in nature. It is a festival that will celebrate its 15 years in 2025. The race is held every year in the same place: San Martín de los Andes in Neuquén, in the north of the country, and in the south of the city of La Paz, in northern Chile. The 21 kilometers of the trail is the longest of the seven distances of the race, with a total of 100 miles in total. It takes about four days to complete the 21 kilometers, and the race starts and finishes at the base of the National Park.
