The candidate for president of the opposition list “People of Law’ for the elections of the CABA Public Bar Association, Patricia Trotta, proposed repositioning the institution as a factor of power. Trotta defended the purchase of Rolex watches for the former presidents of the College because “it was voted many years ago to reward the former Presidents of all lists” The candidate criticized Ricardo Gil Lavedra, who is seeking re-election, because he talks about "austerity" but "lost 400 million pesos" in two years of administration.

"The rationale was that it was very unfair that they worked ad honorem for years and at the end the College was not able to give them a good present and they only shook hands," added the candidate. The list of People of Law includes part of Buenos Aires Peronism and Kirchnerism, whose strong man in the Capital is Juan Manuel Olmos, former official of Alberto Fernández. It also has among its candidates Ricardo Nissen, former head of the General Inspection of Justice and lawyer K and also a libertarian partner with Francisco Oneto.
