Instead of cash, migrants should receive a card with credit for purchases. The payment card is intended, among other things, to prevent money from being transferred to families or friends abroad. Each federal state decides the amount of cash and other additional functions for itself. In principle, the card should be valid nationwide, but regional restrictions that affect certain industries should also be possible.
