New statutes state that when new residential buildings are built that require 15 or more parking spaces, at least 70 percent of the required vehicle parking spaces must be accommodated in an underground car park. This does not apply to parking spaces for people with disabilities. It also states that the parking area for bicycles must be safely accessible from the public traffic area.
