A stop line is intended to secure pensions, and there is even talk of freezing rents. The rent cap remains – the federal government plans to maintain the measure until 2028. It is still not clear in what form or when the climate money will come into force. A new dispute had already broken out between the coalition partners; Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced that the technical requirements for climate money should be in place by the end of 2024.
