Charente-Maritime Chamber of Agriculture begins the deployment of the Agrivis application to report the use of pesticides on the land. Residents who have downloaded Agricivis will be informed two hours before the start of these operations.

Nearly thirty farmers would be directly affected by the application, details Cédric Tranquard, president of this consular chamber dominated by the FDSEA. Residents of the municipalities affected by a phytosanitary treatment will initially be informed, affirms Trenquard. “It’s a first step, but a timid first step. Farmers have every interest in using this application to calm the general climate,” says Marc Maigné, the elected representative in charge of environmental health policies within the La Rochelle agglomeration. ‘I hope that they will play the game, just like the local residents who will have to download and use the application’, confirms CéDric Triquard.
