Eight environmental NGOs left a consultative meeting organized Monday at the Ministry of Agriculture to present avenues for revising the national pesticide reduction plan. “The working conditions were not met to begin the dialogue” on the future of the plan, declared Sandrine Bélier, director of the NGO Humanity and Biodiversity.

The plan, which aims to halve the use of pesticides by 2030, was suspended by Prime Minister Gabriel Attal “time to put in place a new indicator” which would replace Nodu, the main French measuring tool.
