Philippines: Landslide kills five, injures 31. At least five people died and 31 injured after a landslide which buried two buses and several homes in a region.
The landslide occurred Tuesday evening in a mining village in Davao de Oro province on the island of Mindanao, trapping at least 20 people inside two buses that were transporting mine workers, a provincial head of disaster management said. At least four of the dead were children, while the other two were adults, authorities said.
