Piedmontese 118 helicopter crashes on Monte Rosa massif. All occupants unharmed.
Call was for a person who had fallen into a crevasse, in an area on the border with Switzerland. The victim of the fall was extracted and is alive.. Air Zermatt and the Aosta Valley Alpine Rescue immediately mobilized by helicopter to reach the area and bring the people involved down to the valley. The aircraft, coming from Borgosesia, had intervened with the PiedMontese Alpine Rescue in the early afternoon.
