Planned refugee accommodation in Bichl is being examined: “No one wants to have it standing next to their terrace”. In the 2015/2016 refugee crisis, the community had already taken in 30 Ukrainians.

As of February, Bchl has accommodated 36 Ukrainians and not a single asylum seeker. According to the distribution key, thecommunity would have to accept an additional 19 refugees. Places for accommodation urgently needed. BichL must expect allocations from the district office this year.
