Flight attendants are the last major professional group at Lufthansa to have a new collective agreement. The long term of three years guarantees collective bargaining peace in the cabin until the end of 2026.

Salaries of the almost 19,000 flight attendants will rise by 17.4 percent, including the interest effect. Allowances for holiday pay or for foreign language skills will also be increased. The agreement is still subject to the UFO members agreeing to it in a new ballot. The collective agreement of the pilots' union Cockpit Association, which was concluded last year, also expires on this date. A year earlier, negotiations are taking place again with Verdi for the approximately 25,000 ground workers, whose collective bargaining dispute was successfully settled a few days ago. It does not include progress on the company collective agreements with City and Discover. The holiday dispute also put a strain on the airline's parent company Lufhansa's parent firm. The company was founded almost three years ago, and pilots want to enforce the first collective agreements.
