Police are investigating 17 young people: girls (12) from Vienna were seriously abused for months. In Vienna, 17 people are currently suspected of sexually abusing a 12-year-old girl over several months.
The alleged perpetrators are said to have filmed some of the rapes and used them to blackmail their victims. Some of the incidents are even said to has happened in public spaces, including in the parking garage at Vienna Central Station. The now 13- year-old Austrian appeared at the police with her mother in October 2023 and described the crimes.
