Police check e-bike riders in Holzkirchen. Two drivers were checked for lack of registration and alcohol consumption.
Police found that the bike's software had been manipulated. The 51-year-old had a significantly high breath alcohol level of over 1.6 per mille. Police are increasing bicycle checks in the market town. The limit for cyclists is 1.5 per cent alcohol. The 70-year old driver had to give blood and criminal proceedings were initiated against him.
