A fire broke out this Thursday evening shortly before 18 p.m. in a building in downtown Pontoise.

An apartment on the 2nd floor of the six-floor building was completely ablaze when help arrived. The Val-d'Oise firefighters deployed four hoses, one of which on a ladder to bring the fire under control. The town hall has set up a reception point at the Dome with the help of Red Cross teams to take care of the victims of the building.
