Pope says anti-Semitism 'a sin against God' - Vatican. All manifestations of hatred towards Jews and Judaism are a sin againstGod, Pope Francis says.

In a letter addressing "the Jewish brothers and sisters ofIsrael" the pope is reported as saying: "The path that theChurch has begun with you, the ancient people of the Covenant, rejects all forms of anti-Judaism andAnti-Semitism" The letter was sent by the Pope to theologian Karma Ben Johanan, one of the promoters of an appeal to the Pontiff signed by some 400 rabbis.
