The conservative Democratic Alliance coalition (AD, center-right) leads the legislative elections with 33% of the votes. Socialism in power is second and the Chega force, with 19.23%, is in third place.
Some 10.8 million voters were called to the polls this Sunday in Portugal, in elections where the favorite candidates are the socialist Pedro Nuno Santos and the conservative Luís Montenegro (AD) These early elections come just over two years after the previous ones because Costa's third term was cut short in half due to his resignation last November.
