Price hammer for petrol: Drivers have to dig deep into their pockets when it comes to fuel. Average price for a liter of Super E10 nationwide is 1.83 euros - in January it was still 1.72 euros.
In contrast, the price of diesel remains almost unchanged and only increases by 0.2 cents to an average of 1.73 euros per liter. A barrel of North Sea Brent (159 liters) currently costs around $89, an increase of $12 since the beginning of January.
