The Friends of the Mentally Handicapped Association in Geretsried celebrates its 20th anniversary. Sabine Lorenz (60) has been committed to the establishment of a social therapeutic residential community (WG) for people with mental illnesses.
The aim of the association is to stabilize people's state of health in order to avoid home or hospital stays as far as possible. The facility on Blumenstraße is entirely in line with the Second Bavarian Psychiatric Plan with principles of "outpatient before inpatient"
