The primrose is a hardy perennial plant, often found in the wild or in pretty meadows. Once sown, they flower the following year.

Primroses are biennial flowers: once sown they flower again the next year. There are 400 species of primroses that make up the family Primulaceae. The height, shape and color of the primrose can vary from multicolored petals, to red, white, yellow, lilac, yellow and orange.
