Project to reduce light pollution in lakes, rivers and seas. Until 2027, the University of Pisa will coordinate an international partnership with the aim of studying the impacts.
The project's field of action is very broad, from the North Sea to the Mediterranean, up to the Red Sea. High-resolution video systems combined with high-performance image recognition tools through the use of Artificial Intelligence will be used to monitor the movements of zooplankton in the Netherlands, Germany and the UK.
