The protests over the two squatted blocks of Bonanova have strained the start of the campaign in Barcelona. The two marches, with five hundred people each, have developed without notable incidents until 22 hours and without having come to see the faces.

"The only thing that has happened is that some want to scratch four votes," the president of the neighborhood association, Josep Maria López Ciuré, told this newspaper. The Mossos put the focus on May 11 and cataloged the demonstrations for and against the squatters as dangerous.
