[HIGHLIGHTS] Public deficit: Yaël Braun-Pivet opposes the reduction in the duration of unemployment compensation

President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Junker, has called for a reduction in the number of years of tax payments to be made. The European Commission is considering a proposal to reduce the amount of tax paid to the European Union by one year to one year from the current rate of 2.5 years per person per year.

Junker said this would be in the interest of the EU as a whole, and that it would be a good thing for the EU to be able to make more money from tax revenues.
