Putin celebrates his re-election in Red Square, presented as support for the invasion of Ukraine. According to a statistical study, around half of the 64.7 million votes cast by the presidential candidate were falsified.

The businessman Vladislav Davankov, supposed to collect part of the opposition votes, came in third position (3.85% of the votes), behind the communist Nikolai Kharitonov (4.3%) and only ahead of the nationalist LDPR party, Leonid Sloutski.
