Video footage of the Russian military's newest favorite vehicle is now circulating in the Russian media. Motorcycles are supposed to supplement the weapons arsenal of Russia's military.
A video shows them in action. Is it just for show or is there a benefit? Russia is known for extraordinary methods of war. Early in his term in office, Russian President Vladimir Putin appeared in military equipment, shirtless or riding a bear. The staging is a tactic that also seems to work well in war. It is still questionable whether the motorcycle military will last. The golf carts, which are supposedly used to increase speed on the battlefield, have already received a lot of publicity. Motorcycle are also relatively light vehicles that allow you to move more quickly across open spaces, although they are less protected. This can reduce the accuracy of the opposing army, especially in drone attacks - so it probably won't just be "cool" in the game. They were made available to the special forces of the airborne troops. A few private individuals even donated their motorcycles to the “special military operation” in Ukraine.
