MEP Kaili will return to the European Parliament next week, her lawyer says. She was arrested in December on suspicion of money laundering for Qatar.

Two other suspects in the case have also been released from house arrest. The case is being investigated by the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, France, and the European Commission in Washington, D.C. and in Brussels, Belgium. The European Parliament is expected to hold a hearing on the case on April 25, the lawyer adds.
