Quad driver dies in suspected illegal race on Autobahn 111 in Berlin-Reinickendorf. He is said to have agreed to the race with a hand signal in the Tegel tunnel with a 26-year-old motorcyclist who was traveling in the same direction.
When accelerating, the companion slipped off the quad's seat and was dragged along. As a result, the driver lost control of the vehicle, left the road and crashed into the central barrier. The driver was so seriously injured that he died at the scene of the accident.
