Queen Victoria: nearly 140 passengers quarantined for gastroenteritis outbreak. Cunard Line, the American-British company which charters the liner, has taken measures to stem its spread, including isolation of patients.
The origin of the epidemic is currently unknown. This epidemic is the second faced by the shipping company since the start of 2024. A ten-day cruise in January aboard the Celebrity Constellation saw a norovirus spread among travelers. The Queen Victoria is scheduled to reach Honolulu (Hawaii) on February 12.
