Rafael Nadal has withdrawn from the Indian Wells Masters 1000. The Spanish tennis player confirmed it with a post on his networks.

"I am not ready to play at the highest level," he expressed. He was due to debut this Thursday against the Canadian Milos Raonic. He will be replaced by Indian Sumit Nagal, who enters as a lucky loser. Nadal, 37, played just four matches in all of 2023. He began this season in Australia with the intention of playing the first Grand Slam in Australia.
