Violence broke out in Jerusalem during the second night of the holy month of Ramadan. Two people were killed and three others were injured in clashes between police and Palestinians.

Israeli police have restricted access to the Old City for men over 55, women over 50 and children under 10. This Friday is the first day of Ramadan, when thousands of Palestinians are expected to flock to the city to pray in the streets and on the streets of the city's squares. The Israeli government has announced it will increase police presence in the city, especially in areas where there are frequent clashes.
