Rape case at the University of Bordeaux-Montaigne: an investigation finally opened by the prosecution. A complaint from philosopher Barbara Stiegler, a university professor, against a colleague whom she accuses of rape led to the referral to an investigating judge on Tuesday.
The alleged victim accuses him of having raped her in May 2020. The targeted professor has been suspended from his duties for one year, with deprivation of half his salary, since February 1. The alleged attacker disputes the facts with which he is accused.
