Record 23.75 million in employment in Italy in December - Istat. In provisional data, the national statistics agency said this was a rise of 456,000 people in work with respect to December 2022.
Italy's unemployment rate fell to 7.2% in December, down0.2 of a point compared to November and the lowest level since December 2008, when it was 6.9%. It said the unemployment rate for under-25s who are active on the labor market was 0.4 of a points down at 20.1%.
