In most cases, the evaluation of the mobile phone data of refugees does not help to determine the identity and origin of the immigrants. Of all the evaluations, about a third supported the statements of the asylum seekers about their origin.

Only two percent of the evaluations revealed contradictory information that had to be clarified afterwards.
