Francois Bayrou was acquitted in the file of European parliamentary assistants affecting his party. He was accused of being involved in a vast embezzlement of European public funds.
Bayrou estimated that there were “very important changes to be made” in the area of justice. “There is a feeling of relief, and of immense waste,” says Bayrou in an interview with BFMTV-RMC. ‘The paths of Éric Dupondtti and mine are not the same,’ he adds.
