According to a media report, Pal Dardai remains head coach of Hertha BSC. The 47-year-old returned to the coach's bench in mid-April as the successor to the hapless Sandro Schwarz.
Hertha had to leave the Bundesliga for the seventh time as the bottom of the table. It is still unclear whether the German Football League will grant the license for the 2nd division at all. If the DFL refuses the license, there is a risk of falling into the fourth-tier regional league.
