Report: The Chief of Staff and the head of the Shin Bet visited Egypt and discussed the coordination of the operation in Rafah. According to senior American officials, Halevi and Bar met with their recipients in Cairo - and conveyed a message that Israel would take steps to ensure that the Rafah operation would not lead to tens of thousands of Palestinian refugees fleeing to Egypt.
