A senior member of the Revolutionary Guards was killed in an Israeli attack near the Iranian embassy in Damascus. At least five more people were killed in the attack in the Al-Maza neighborhood in the Syrian capital, according to the Syrian Organization for Human Rights.
According to reports, the Iranian ambassador was not injured. At the same time, alarms were sounded in several settlements in the Western Galilee for fear of hostile aircraft infiltrating the Upper Galilee. Just last Friday another attack in Syria, near the city of Aleppo, was attributed to Israel.
