The Gustave-Roussy Institute in Villejuif, France, is to build a 33,000 m2 building. The extension will double the number of researchers at the first oncology center.

Cancer affects 19 million new people each year worldwide, including 450,000 new cases and 160,000 deaths in France alone. This will increase our surface area devoted to research by 30% and will double our number ofResearchers, which will increase to 60 teams, says Professor François Barlesi.
