The Ministry of Environmental Protection and the Petah Tikva Municipality announced today (Tuesday) the beginning of the "bridal flights" of the Formosan termite in the city and its east. In recent days the termite has already been observed in Givat Hashlosha, Kfar Sirkin, Nahalim, Nofach, Mazor and Rinthia.
The termites embark on a mass bridal flight from late May to July and occurs from sunset for about half an hour to an hour.
