Rhône: a new brigade of public transport police in 243 municipalities around Lyon. The prefect of Rhône, Fabienne Buccio, installed the new public transport brigade on Wednesday morning.
It is one of the three new brigades promised by Emmanuel Macron in the department. The objective for this new brigade to contribute to the reduction of violence against people in transport. The number of victims having fallen by 28% in 2023 in theDepartment according to the prefecture, or almost 400 fewer incidents.
