Right of way taken: Driver can no longer brake – four injured in accident in Franconia. Four people were injured in the accident, three of them seriously.
The fire department had to free a seriously injured driver using hydraulic tools. The federal highway had to be completely closed for the duration of the rescue and recovery work. A rescue helicopter was also in action, as the Höchstadt fire department announced on Facebook on March 31st. The driver was deprived of the right of way on Saturday evening, which meant that he was no longer able to brake.
