This is the second event under the title “Rottweiler Dialogue” that the AfD has invited to take place on Wednesday (April 17th) in the town of Rottweil in Baden-Württemberg. Several alliances have called for protests.

The invitation already contains allegations against the federal government. The AfD district association accuses the traffic light of their actions as being “ideology-driven and clientelistic”. The event will take place in front of a crowd of around 1,000 people at the town’s municipal hall. It will be hosted by AfD state leader Björn Höcke and parliamentary group leader Alice Weidel. The first event took place in June 2023, where Höcke drew his future scenarios for Germany on stage. “A coup can no longer be ruled out, he said at the time, according to reports in the Schwäbische Zeitung. The second meeting is scheduled for April 17th.
