Rubiols or robiols are a type of sweet dumplings that can be filled with cottage cheese, jam, chocolate, angel hair or other sweets. Crespells are sweet cookies of different shapes.

Both are preparing in Mallorca to celebrate Holy Week. The typical filling for sweet Rubiols from Mallorcan is brossat – cottage cheese with egg yolk, sugar and orange peel zest. In Menorca there are also salty Rubiol's filled with sofrito, meat, fish or spinach with raisins and pine nuts.
