A court in the Russian region of Bryansk, bordering Ukraine, sentenced a Ukrainian to 12 years in a harsh regime camp. The man was found guilty of having “transmitted’ information classified as a state secret to the Ukrainian special services.

The information concerned “the presence of Russian armed forces” in the Bryansk region. The accused “pleaded guilty and repented” during a closed-door trial, according to the court. However, he can still appeal the verdict.
