Russia arrested three people accused of sabotage for Ukraine. One suspect, prosecuted for “high treason” – a crime punishable by life imprisonment.
The man confessed by claiming that he worked for the “Freedom of Russia” Legion. Woman arrested in Belgorod region, bordering Ukraine, was accused of having prepared the ‘sabotage’ of railway transport facilities. Russia has said it has repelled several attempted incursions by pro-Ukraine armed groups in this region.
