The Foreign Ministry “disapproves” of the plan and is therefore now summoning the Russian ambassador. Moldova wants to join the EU and sees itself threatened by Russia. There have also been warnings from Germany in the event that Russia attacks Moldova, which shares a border with Ukraine and NATO member Romania.
