Kiev is preparing a counteroffensive with a modern arsenal provided by the West, while Moscow uses its large reserves of weapons to go on the defensive. These are the most powerful weapons in the arsenals of both countries and can thus play a key role in the new phase of the conflict.

Kiev now has two U.S.-sent Patriot batteries, which experts say will help intercept Russian missiles and keep its fighters and bombers away. Russia has an air force almost 10 times larger than that of Ukraine, thanks to country's air defense systems.
